Referees and Records Commissioners for Neglecting...KBO to Ask Team Former Representative to Investigate
The Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) requested the Suseo Police Station (Suseo Police) in Seoul to investigate the circumstances of the illegal solicitation between the former chairman of the pro baseball team, the current commissioner of the umpire team, 먹튀검증 and the record committee.
The KBO is said to have been investigating the case after receiving a tip late last year that K played golf with N, a member of the judging committee, and D, a member of the recording committee during the 2016 regular season when he was serving as a representative of the professional baseball team. This is because the golf meeting between the head of the team and the judges and the records committee is a serious matter that could undermine the fairness of the game's management.
The KBO set up an investigation committee and reviewed the information for about three months, but it had difficulty identifying the facts as it had no right to investigate the case. The KBO believes they are suspected of violating the National Sports Promotion Act and eventually asked the police to investigate them.
Article 14 Section 3 of the National Sports Promotion Act states that athletes, coaches, judges and employees of sports organizations that are considered professional sports should not receive, demand, or promise wealth or property benefits from fraudulent requests regarding sports.
Article 148 of the KBO's code requires the KBO president to impose maximum disqualification on players, coaches, coaches, or referees, 파워볼배팅 disciplinary action for suspension of duties and fines of 10 million won or more on the team's executives and employees if irregularities by players, coaches, coaches or referees are revealed.
